Welcome to the website of the Arizona State University Trombone Studio. As the 2013-14 school year has drawn to a close, we want to congratulate our students for all of their hard work and dedication that made this year such a success. Lessons, concerts, classes - and the release of our first ASU Desert Bones Trombone Choir CD recording - all combined to lead trombone players at ASU to a new level of excellence. We congratulate our graduates for completing their studies and wish them all the best in the future even as we get ready to welcome new students to campus in August. It's not too early to start thinking about ASU as YOUR destination for trombone study for spring or fall semesters in 2015. Explore our website, Facebook page and YouTube channel to learn more about why the trombone world is talking about ASU. Join us!

Think About It

"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in that grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."

— Theodore Roosevelt, speech ("The Strenuous Life") before the Hamilton Club, Chicago, April 10, 1899.

Our Mission
