Welcome to the website of the Arizona State University Trombone Studio. The 2014-15 school year has begun and we welcome our returning and new students. Once again we have an exciting year ahead of us with many activities planned. We continue to receive accolades for the work our students are doing and we aim for even higher standards each day. A highlight of this year's activities is the recording of our second compact disc for release in fall 2015. It's not too early to start thinking about ASU as YOUR destination for trombone study for spring or fall semesters in 2015. Explore the links above on our website, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel to learn more about why the trombone world is talking about ASU. Join us!
Think About It
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in that grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."
— Theodore Roosevelt, speech ("The Strenuous Life") before the Hamilton Club, Chicago, April 10, 1899.
Our mission is to establish the ASU Trombone Studio as the best, most significant, consequential, interesting, satisfying, and important place on earth to study trombone. Any questions?
